A society based on equality, justice, honesty of service in which all are self-reliant.
There is an urgent need for a permanent & bigger residence for the homeless people.
The Parja Co-Operative House Building Society is a society registered under the Punjab Co-Operative Society Act vide registration number 1343 dated 24th May, 1972. It has adopted model bye laws provided by the Punjab Govt. The society opted to become Self-Supporting Society under The Punjab Self Supporting Co-Operative Societies Act, 2006 (Punjab Act No. 17 of 2010). Now the society is known as The Parja Self-Supporting Cooperative House Building Society Ltd. Registration No. 2 Datedl7-11-2014. The main objective of this society since its inception is to provide " House for all, shelter for all ". Our society is in the process of achieving its main objective. PUDA/GLADA has allotted us 2.72 acres of land at Sector-40, Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana for construction of multi storeyed flats for our members.
